In case you were thinking about taking a 18 hr. drive with two small children, I have to warn you it is not for the faint of heart, but we could not be detoured when my brother and sweetest sister in law invited us to join them on their Disney Vacation. Our day started very early and by 8am we were eating breakfast at the McDonald's in Cedar City. There was a short nap on the way to
Las Vegas and when our angels woke up they were fit to be tied, so we decided to take a break. We were so grateful to our neighbors for letting us borrow there GPS, because we were able to quickly find a subway and a fantastic park.

(At this point in her life this is about the only kind of picture we can manage to get of our little Holly Dolly----On The Move.)

Continuing on our journey we made it all the way to
Barstow when my brother called and said there was a horrible accident on the freeway and we may as well take our time. And time we took. It took us about an hour in
Barstow to find a park that I felt comfortable enough to let my girls play at. Let's just say Ogden has nothing on
Barstow when it comes to choppy neighborhoods. When we got back on the road we found that traffic was still backed up, so we thought we would try the GPS detour feature as the GPS had been so helpful in
Las Vegas. It did help us detour and we eventually found our way, but I don't know that you can really call a dirt bike trail a road, at least not one that our Chrysler can concur. Luckily the main road was close by and we were able to continue on our way to the condo. What a fun adventure. I really do love road trips, bumps and all.
