Summer's Here...

Well it doesn't feel like it in Utah, but we had a wonderful vacation in Texas with my Mom and Dad and found a lot of sunshine there. Here are a few highlights...
Lily and Holly were so cute pulling their carry on bags all the way through the airport. My apologies to all the other travelers trying to get somewhere. Hey, we're on vacation.
We spent a lot of time at the pool, while Grandpa and Dad perfected their golf swings.
Only one more monkey to make the set complete...Coming August 2010...Hear No Evil. We enjoyed an evening at the Oasis on beautiful Lake Travis.
To get a better view of the lake, we took in the sunset at Windy Point.
And Lily found her first frog.
On Sunday...a little Texas History Museum. This is the biggest Star in Texas with my littlest stars at the bottom.
We had to see the bats. So we waited and waited, but I think for the only known time the bats were a no show on Congress. But we had fun eating gummy bears and keeping the crowd entertained as our girls tried to lure the bats out from under the bridge.
If you're ever in Austin be sure to ride the Duck Tour. We enjoyed the history, the lake, and the quackers. The Hula Hut afterward had to be our food highlight...Thanks Mom.
And then for the moment my kids have been waiting for all year...the fish zoo. Better known as Sea World. We had a wonderful day feeding fish, watching shows, and running through water. Definitely a fan favorite for Lily and Holland.
We had a perfect ending to our trip spending Thursday evening driving the golf course, watching my Dad teach Lily how to swing a club, and lots of fun with cousin Belle. As we were getting reading to go Holly said, "but I want to stay in Texas foreber." I think we all feel that way, honey.
